Stitch From Stash - March Check In

I cannot believe that March is over.  And I haven't posted as I intended!  Oh well, April is another month.

Time to check in for the Stitch From Stash challenge hosted by Mel of Epic Stitching.  I have done very well!  No purchases this month, AND a finish!  Free pattern, and everything from my stash.

My March report:

Carry Forward from February 35.14

Budget for March 25.00

Item finished from stash 8.00

Fabric 0.00
Thread 0.00
Patterns 0.00
Kits 0.00
Books 0.00
Total Spent 0.00

Balance Forward to April 68.14

I finished the January flower, "Carnation," a free pattern from Ellen Maurer-Stroh's flower of the month seriesAlyssa Feller of Brownie's Chair is hosting a SAL of this series.  I'm not managing a flower a month though, I think it will be a flower a quarter for me. lol

The fabric is a very pretty overdyed 28 count linen, soft greys and grey-greens.  It made me think of our cold, grey January weather, and that is why I used it.  I have no idea where I got it. :o)  I'm not sure how I will finish it yet.

Lovely stitching Lisa. I haven't stitched the carnations yet (I'm still behind as well!) but looking at yours makes me want to start now!

Lisa: Beautiful stitching, I do wish I had your courage to have a stash budget.
